MOSCOW, Oct 24 (PRIME) -- U.S. company Yum! Brands has signed an agreement with its franchisee Smart Service, based in the Russian city of Izhevsk, to sell around 70 KFC restaurants that will soon reopen under the Rostic’s brand, Yum! Brands said in a statement late on Monday.
The buyer will be responsible for rebranding and keeping the jobs.
The deal will also need approval of corresponding regulatory authorities.
After the deal is closed, Yum! Brands will finish its corporate presence in Russia.
